Saucer

Hello. I'm new at Google Sketch. I tried a search on their help page. But it wouldn't recognize "saucer". But I'd like to ask how to create a saucer, or skin to cover up the decks for a starship I'd be creating. Thank you.

First, create the profile of the saucer, then position it centered over a circle. Use the "follow me" tool to spin the saucer around the circle path.

All the time I've doing the saucers the long way I never thought of that one. Thanks should make my designs go a lot quicker

Make sure you use a circle with alot of sides. Otherwise when you zoom in your hull will look segmented. I usually set the steps on my to at least 60 to 120.

And a number divisible by 3 makes it easier later on. you get construction lines matching the degrees of the circle. Easier for adding details.

was told this by some one here. I think I've got this right.

when you first draw your circle do a number into the size box like 60s. this is the number of sides it will have then do your size as normal. just have to remember to add the 's' next to the first number
