I stopped watching MTV about 10 years ago. I gave up on the movie awards about 8 years ago. This girl on girl kiss thing is a gimmick and I'm sick of hearing about it. MTV needs to grow up.

I think it's just convenient. Sandra Bullock said she was retiring, ends up at the MTV Movie Awards and ends up kissing Scarlett Johansson? Sounds like she's having second thoughts about retiring and is doing anything to get some attention again to put her back in the spotlight. Someone retiring wouldn't care about being in the spotlight.

The kiss between Madona and Spears caused people to go blind. It was that hideous. The kiss between Sacrlett and Sandra un-did that blindness because it was awesome.

It was an intentional extremism. Saying they "went blind" is too easy. Oh, they went blind.

What I was going for in the "unmade sight" thing is that seeing such a disgusting event caused them to not only go blind, but go blind so bad that it was retroactive. So it wasn't that they could no longer see it was as if they had never seen!

My Bad. Well, it was a rumour I saw on a site that turned out to not be true. It said she was planning on leaving LA and living in New Orleans with her kids. I've seen it refuted since.

I liked the one on Streep better. That was also fun bit in that speech with the faux-competitive anger at tying.

I wonder if Bullock could have lifted Johansson up like this. That may have been fun.
