san bruno ca, fire

Sorry, to get back on topic, it looks like they havn't found anybody yet, which is good, and so far no one is confirmed missing, but not all the neighbors have checked in yet. The main thing right now is to hope for those in critical condition at the hospitals. I think they said 10 or so are listed as critical and a few of those were said to have third degree burns (very bad) so hope and pray that they make it out ok.

Heard of this when we took a friend to dinner tonight. It dont sound too good!

...Perhaps PG&E may get charged with negligent homicide?

That'd be interesting!

I just saw the following a few minutes ago. We'd heard it was a big explosion. Here's how big:

Good GOD!

^^^Wow thats cool to see another person from a tiny suburb on here!

1994 through 2003, I went to school at Brisbane Elementary, then Lipton Middle School, then Terra Nova High in pacifica. I lived in those apartments on top of the hill off of San Bruno Blvd.

I also live in a tiny suburb currently, Belmont, which is maybe 10-15 miles from the explosion.

What a terrible disaster. It's strange to feel relieved, but I expected a lot more fatalities, so I'm glad that most of the people were saved. My condolences to the families of the people who were killed, and to all those who lost their homes.
