Sam Rami to direct Dr Strange 2

You should try Darkman, it's a great comic-book movie...that isn't based on a comic.
But is kind of adjacent. Darkman came about when Raimi's plan to do The Shadow fell through.

I had never seen the Evil Dead series when Spiderman came out, so I was completely oblivious to the point behind the William Campbell cameos until years later.
Your Trek is showing. ;) Bruce Campbell, not William.

He doesn't really make horror movies, more comedies disguised as horror movies. His most horrific film is 'A Simple Plan' and that's just a thriller.
I avoid horror elements as a rule. Don't care if it's a comedy, thriller or wolf in sheep's clothing.

I don't think anyone has posted this yet, but the latest TV promo has confirmed that the group that maybe-Xavier is part of, is the Illuminati.

So that raises the question of who the members of this Illuminati are, could this be how they introduce Reed Richards and Namor, along with maybe-Xavier? After the trainwreck of The Inhumans, I doubt we'll see Black Bolt, unless they decide to give it another try with a multiversal variant of him.
Or maybe it will be all characters from past films, with Patrick Stewart's Xavier, Ioan Gruffud's Reed Richards, Eric Banna's Bruce Banner, and either Toby Maguire or Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker?
