Paul Bettany addresses whether or not he's in this film:
Wow, I never expected to see any of those pre-2000s Marvel movies ever see the light of day again. If you're looking for something to tide you over until this comes out the original Doctor Strange movie is coming out on blu-ray at the end of April. No not that one; this one from 1978.
OK, it's a little ironic that the one that didn't use the Doctor Strange name actually looks closer to the comics than the one that did.And if that's not enough for you, you could always watch the second Doctor Strange movie from 1992 staring Jeffrey Combs.
Well it was supposed to be Dr Strange but they lost the rights so they changed the character's name and nothing else and made it anyway.
That was actually pretty funny.
While I understand why WB changed their movie, I do admire Disney for being willing to take a hit and let their movie be banned.Banned in Saudi Arabia and no doubt the rest of those countries where they think that the only good gay person is a dead gay person will follow suit. Say what you like about Disney but at least they didn't do a Warner's and make the gay scenes easily removable.

I found that way more interesting than the trailer which still makes zero sense, and I have no idea what the film is about. With Rami at the helm that's two strikes that lead me to seriously doubt seeing this. That was actually pretty funny.
Disney has been taking a stand recently. Good business move.Banned in Saudi Arabia and no doubt the rest of those countries where they think that the only good gay person is a dead gay person will follow suit. He is quite talented. But he likes horror. I do not.Not a fan of Raimi?
He directed a few horror movies, but that isn't all he's ever done. Oz The Great and Powerful? Not horror. The Spider-Man movies? Not horror. For the Love of the Game? The Quick and the Dead? A Simple Plan? All not horror. He produced Zena and Hercules. To pigeon hole him as a horror guy does a disservice to his varied career, IMHO.He is quite talented. But he likes horror. I do not.
I had never seen the Evil Dead series when Spiderman came out, so I was completely oblivious to the point behind the William Campbell cameos until years later. He directed a few horror movies, but that isn't all he's ever done. Oz The Great and Powerful? Not horror. The Spider-Man movies? Not horror. For the Love of the Game? The Quick and the Dead? A Simple Plan? All not horror. He produced Zena and Hercules.
