Sam Rami to direct Dr Strange 2

I didn't realize his involvement hadn't actually been confirmed yet, everybody seemed to just be treating it as a definite fact that he was directing it.

There hasn't been any official word from Marvel on the subject. This is the first time that any of the involved parties have commented on it.

Hope she gets more to do in this one than just be "Love Interest who wasn't afraid to walk out on Strange for being a dick".

She's one of the Night Nurses in the comics, so maybe this time they'll work that into the movie version.

OK, so that's three more. With Kamala Kahn and Ironheart also being introduced, I could see them deciding to mash up the Young Avengers and Champions and add them to the team.

Young Avengers sounds like something specific for streaming. I don't see that cast even though their is some names I like suck as Hailey Stanfield getting people out to the movies.

Just had this thought.... Dr. Strange will be in SPiderman 3....but with Raimi directing, will it be reciprocal? Or what kind of SPider easter eggs will be dropped in (and Evil Dea)?

Raimi should be good; on balance, his Spider-Man movies were fine. The first one was great.

I think in this kind of a situation it would be more down to the popularity of the characters than the actors. People like Chris Evans, Tom Holland, and Chadwick Boseman weren't necessarily big box office names, but Captain America, Spider-Man and Black Panther were popular enough to bring in the big numbers.

I know but if they are just seen as replacement characters they can't help but feel somewhat derivative. Iron Man and Captain America and the others are big shoes to replace and it feels way to early to even really try at least on a movie level. Makes more sense to me to go all in on Fantastic 4, X-Men, Blade and even Deadpool and then circle back to these other characters. They should be going almost completely new stuff(new to MCU that is) at the movies for awhile while finishing up on things like Thor, Black Panther, Antman, Guardians and Doctor Strange and also Spiderman.
