I just stumbled across this on Netflix and I'm absolutely loving this! It's a 3D cell-shaded anime machinima series from Rooster Teeth, the makers of Red vs Blue. Which is one of my favorite series.

It's about a team of superhuman girls training to be "Huntresses" and fight the evil monsters that roam the land. It's very heavy on comedy and has some absolutely amazing action scenes. The animation style makes it look like an old video game cut scene but it looks pretty good. I've sampled a lot of anime series but I've never found one that suited my tastes, but this definitely does. It's funny without being childish, and serious without being depressing and slow.

Anybody else discover this show? I'm just starting season two. Unfortunately I highly doubt the show will continue because the creator/director just tragically passed away a week ago.

I've known about it since they started teasing it during Red Vs Blue Season Ten I believe...and yes it's quite beautiful and awesome. I'm very behind though and it's sad what happened to Monty.

Hard to believe that just so many years ago, these guys were just drinking and goofing off with a few Xboxes, and making hilarious parodies of Halo for no money at all.

Longtime fan, and always amazed how impressive it is considering predominantly made with Poser and uses non-professional voices. I guess it gets fundamentals right: character and story.
