Russell T. Davies Returns to Doctor Who as New Showrunner

Moffatt is quoted as saying that Ncuti "gives it the full Capaldi" in the Xmas ep. I had some concerns with 15 in Boom precisely because he was given a few 12-like speeches, though we could forgive his anger there due to the stress of the situation.

Unless he just means the eyebrows?

The 15th doctor is supposed get very mean.

Timestamp is 3:04.

New description of “The Legend Of Ruby Sunday”

also a new “tales of the Tardis will air before the finale

Instinct would say The Daemons still. If they’re going to do a Companion in the memory Tardis — and if rumours about a certain other Mr.Pertwee are true — then really only a Jo Grant story would do, and The Daemons is very much en pointe for the season.

I noticed something this season, and I think it had already started to happen over the last few seasons. They seem to have changed the sonic screwdriver to just the sonic, and while the original kind of looked like a screwdriver style tool, now it's lost that too.

Also it's being used far less (ironic considering since Davies is the one who brought it back with such enthusiasm) which I'm eternally grateful for.

Yeah it felt with 14 he was going bonkers all out with the sonic (now it can create holograms and force fields), knowing full well he intended to bring the sonic back to its roots with 15.

Curiouser and curiouser. The Radio Times have confirmed with the BBC the Ncuti and Millie are in the TOTT episode. It's also the only one that's getting a TV broadcast, albeit on BBC 4.

What number channel was broadcasting the news from Devils End? Was that BBC Three or Four?

It was BBC Three. Monty Python did a brief sketch a couple of years earlier debating whether or not there should be a BBC Three; and, in typical Python fashion, the vote was split and there was no concensus.

This is bait. Why scream?

What if Ruby thinks she's waking up on another planet. She sees the Doctor walking down the street. She tries to stop him.

Ruby- You're the Doctor!

The Doctor now has a posh english accent- Doctor who?

We find out Ruby stuck is on an alternate earth with no way to get back.

Well (not that I ever did) but after that trailer I don't think that Susan Twist is going to turn out to be a Susan twist.

As much as I still want Susan to return, I'm glad Susan Twist isn't her and those quick flashes quickly confirmed that. I managed to pick up both of those but I'm glad you were able to get stills of them. I wonder if there were any others that I might have missed.
