Russell T. Davies Returns to Doctor Who as New Showrunner

Where did you find this photo?
I did a Google search on the image, it appears to be from a Twitter account called Doctor Who Filming Locations. Unfortunately, it appears you need to be logged into Twitter in order to view any account now, and since I don't have my own Twitter account, I can't view this particular one to comment any further on its veracity.

And needing to log into Twitter to view Tweets now? The latest middle finger from Elon Musk?

Fair enough.

Can someone ask Rich if it's safe to assume that's where all of the imagery he posts here is from that Twitter account? He won't see my post since apparently it's such a horrible thing to ask for a source.

Damn, that's a new one on me. That might explain why I haven't seen tweets embedded in articles recently.

The guy is truly a pathetic dickhead.

I think I read earlier today that the need to log into twitter has been quietly abandoned, as said pathetic dickhead realises that it’s only prompting more people to go to Threads.

And Blue Skies once it becomes publicly available (that's where I'll be fleeing).

Glad he finally had some common sense, if only because of his dumb feud with Zuck.

Looks like the BBC might be up to their old trick of hiding a trailer date in social media posts again. If you add up the time stamps they've conveniently provided in the Alt text on these images you get 157 or 15th July. Which just so happens to be Wimbledon final day, one of the biggest TV audiences of the year, and also the day that Jodie Whitaker's casting was announced.

I'd have thought they would want to hold off on the trailer until Comic Con, which RTD has confirmed will have a Doctor Who panel this year.

Nine million sets of eyeballs versus a couple of thousand? I know which I'd go for.

Plus if the Writers Strike is still on I don't see Russell, who's already publicly supported them, turning up to SDCC.

Also, podcast Type 40 have been informed the special guest star for the 2024 Christmas Special is

Whoopie Goldberg

I've seen some boards be able to bypass this and you can see the tweet. They could be using something that pulls from a twitter feed/API, which would be a custom add-on.

I mean, that person has been begging for years not just be on the show but to star in it.

I'd love to watch certain people's heads explode if Russell decides to grant their wish by making them another pre-Hartnell Doctor...
Make heads explode even more and have them play
Guinan.

That's not what I meant. I just meant have both of the actresses return for them to regenerate into younger actresses.

They're at it again. Any Cryptographers in the house?
