I did not realise it is Beep the Meep (or at least a Meep) that Donna encounters in the trailer for the specials until today.
RTD is a bad man. That is a deep cut from the DWM strip (and my childhood) and I love it.

I guess you missed out on the big discussions here about it when the trailer first came out. I only know Beep from the Big Finish freebie that featured him, but I was happy for everyone else who freaked out about his appearance in the trailer.
I’ve been so ambivalent towards Doctor Who generally over the past few years that I sort of forgot about it altogether for a while and stopped paying any interest.
Which is tragic for a person who is a fan basically from birth.
