Yup. I really don't have anything to say to the reply I received. They are classic companions, appearing in the modern series. That's quite enough and I have a feeling RTD would agree. I wasn't aware of any 'official' list...

I'm not a huge fan of Mel the character, but I'm sure whatever her appearance is won't involve the stuff I hated about the character (mostly the screaming and bossing The Doctor around), so I'm fine with it. Might as well get appearances by who they can, although as a Sixth Doctor fan I'd prefer to see Peri over Mel (since Peri was 100% saved by Brian Blessed she could definitely appear, pay no attention to the fact she was obviously supposed to have had her body taken over/mind killed before the lame recon at the end of Trial of a Timelord ).
