Rules of the Forum
Things are going to get heated in here, we all know it. Whether you think the show is good, bad, or 'meh', opinions are going to be strong, and varied. We want you to be able to express them.
Negative opinions are not against the rules. Nor are positive ones. If you don't agree with an opinion, you can challenge it, but do so on the content of the post, not by attacking the poster.
The normal rules of the site apply, and these can be found here for your perusal.

Spoilers
Generally, buyer beware in this forum if you want to be completely unspoiled. We will try to protect major developments, but if knowing basic details, character names or minutiae will spoil your enjoyment, watch the show before coming into the forum!
If you are posting specific spoilers from episodes, particularly about plot developments, please use spoiler tags and warnings for at least 2 weeks from the date of US release to give people a chance to catch up.

Moderators may add spoiler tags to any post, and obvious spoilers consistently posted inconsiderately may result in action.

Discussion/Advocacy of Piracy

As most of you know already, advocacy of piracy, including talking about engaging in it, is against the rules. It puts this site in real danger and we cannot allow it.

If you've seen the new Star Trek Shorts or anything else, discuss what you've seen. There's no need to talk about how you've seen it.

Future discussion of, or promotion of, piracy will result in infractions, and posting of links to unauthorised sources is likely to result in you sitting out the Discovery forum entirely.
