Romulan Runabout - WIP

Variant 2 with CIWS deployed

Decent design, but very linear. If it were mine, I'd give the trailing edge of the wings a rounded, elliptical shape to them (think of a Spitfire's wing), and a bit of curvature to the fuselage, looking down. Maybe flare it a bit where the fuselage joins the forward wing roots. Nice work!

Thanks. Yes, still working on it. The wings are still flattish, boxy and without details. But I will get to that. Those are certainly decent suggestions. Definitely will look at ways to more obviously Romulanize the design,

Anyone do nacelle arms that unfold into a ring?

Might be helpful if they did. Ive seen the detachable rings a few times in star wars ships. Maybe park it in orbit and land without it, then pick it back up when it's time to leave. But that doesnt seem ideal. Keeping them attached but folding them to allow a better configuration for landing on a surface might be better.

I was thinking the nacelles themselves could open up…like a Hoberman sphere. TIE Interceptor panels meets window blinds.
