Okay, we all know that macho guys are really pushovers at heart. Now is the time to fess up.
Tell us which romances you actually enjoyed, romantic comedies included.
In the past I've actually liked The Goodbye Girl, When Harry Met Sally, It Happened One Night, Titanic, Now Voyager, The Bridges Of Madison County and a few others the names of which escape me at the moment.
My favourite is probably The Goodbye Girl from 1978 with Richard Dreyfuss and Marsha Mason. Dreyfuss is perfect in it as the odd romantic lead whose goofy charm wins the girl. I suppose part of his appeal for me is I can identify with his character. But also because the humour was credible rather than over the top. I could easily see myself behaving like Dreyfuss did in the film in pursuing a girl. In fact I have acted like that.
But anyway, guys, share the romantic films, dramatic or comedic, that you've enjoyed.
