Roger Moore dead at 89

My 2nd favourite Moore Bond would have to be the one that ended with him throwing Tattoo from Fantasy Island off a boat inside a suit case. I can't remember the full title.

For the record Dalton and Craig are my favourite Bonds, I can just imagine either of them being somewhat intense!

I adore Dalton, and genuinely is my favourite Saturnine Bond. But I've never met him or Connery (sadly), but I have met Moore who I knew as 'Bond' and he was so charming and funny and self-deprecating.

I'm not sure if mentioned elsewhere, but he did a f***load of UNICEF work uncredited and unrecognised.

He has indeed. He's done loads of charity work and stuff outside of acting. I wish more stars were like him. I only recently finished the book I mentioned Bond On Bond and it's a fun little book with lots of anecdotes and stories. I don't normally buy biographies but found that one interesting. The only other biography I have is one written by Jane Russell about herself.

So what is everyone's favorite Moore Bond movie? I was going to walk one on Amazon in memory of Roger Moore, but they randomly removed them less than three weeks after adding new ones. I have trouble remembering which one is which so I can't answer my own question.
The Spy Who Loved Me(1977), For Your Eyes Only(1981), and Octopussy(1983) are my favorites.

Now I'm wondering if my memory is a bit foggy, was it Moore in that movie with the short guy from Fantasy Island? I just remember the ending where Bond throws him overboard inside a suitcase off a ship.

Live And Let Die, followed closely by The Man With The Golden Gun. I watched my LALD DVD this week, and I'll watch TMWTGG this weekend.

It is kind of interesting how Man With The Golden Gun anticipated Fantasy Island-- isolated island, mysterious and debonair man in a white suit, Herve Villechaize hanging around and making things happen....
