So there's apparently a Robocop game in the works called Rogue City, I'm cautiously optimistic about this one, hoping it'll be some open world style thing where you drive around prevent crime/arresting people - and having to do so within the limits of your Prime Directives. There's next to no information about it though, anyone else looking forward to this one?
I'm looking forward to it. I'm a huge RoboCop fan and if Teyon does as good of a job as they did with Terminator Resistance, then we'll be in for a treat.
Looks a tad old fashioned, but it might fun to play - that targeting system looks awesome - and yours truly looks badass in it.
I like that they fashioned it after the movies and TV show, ie it has that early 90's aesthetics going on.
This game is screaming a re-skined Terminator Resistance, but now set in Delta city, just the vibe i get from the trailer, but that should not be a surprise as it's the same devs.
It's a sample from the first movie, but the publisher is saying that Weller is lending his likeness and voice to the game. However, if you've played the DLC for the newest Mortal Kombat (which has Weller as RoboCop), he really doesn't have the vocal timbre for it anymore.
So kinda like Adam West and Burt Ward voicing Batman and Robin in the animated Batman '66 movies? I haven't watched the whole movies, but I have seen clips and it is a little odd hearing their 2016/17 voices coming out of animated versions of how they looked back in the '60s.
Looks more like an early 00's shooter. I get why the movements seem stiff, Robocop isn't exactly the spokesperson for agility but it put me off a little bit.
I see what you mean but it looks very "Robocopy" which is a definite plus (showing prime directives etc). I'm a big Robcop fan (what gave it away?) so I'll defo be checking this out.
Ouch. The gameplay looks stiff, and Weller sounds like he took tranquilizers before going into the recording booth. And Teyon does not have a particularly exemplary track record of making good games.
