If you've never seen Brimley's appearance on Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson back in 2011, it's absolutely amazing.
The man who for the last 10 years or so you'd say is still alive and people would go, "Really?!"

I always thought he'd played a good role in the things I'd seen him. The last was a recent rewatch of The Firm.
First thing I saw him in was The China Syndrome and there's been quite a few things since I've watched with him in.

Nope, It's one of the good-hearted things we love about him.
Rest in peace Mr. Brimley.
One of the few actors who could play "gentle" and "immitatding" both equally well.
Yeah, he was one of those people who seemed like they could go on and on.
When I first started seeing him in stuff, I was distracted by his uncanny resemblance to my Dad.
Other than one way is the right way to say it and both have different consinant sounds in the middle.

He was a mainstay on Daytime TV because of those Diabetes ads. You watch an episode of Price is Right and you know you will see that commercial eventually. I was reading up on him and he won awards because of his Diabetes awareness.

I just found out he was only 49 when he appeared in 'Cocoon'. He was one of those actors who was born old.
He had a place near where I grew up and I had a few interactions with him as did a number of friends and relatives. I'll just say, at that time, he was not what I'd call a sociable or friendly person. At all. The "diabetes" pronunciation is pretty common for Utahns of an older generation.
The last line of this commercial always killed me. Who else could deliver it that way?

I admit, that's the thing I've most often thought about in recent years.
Even while doing things he shouldn't do, Wilford was inspirational.
