RIP Tanith Lee

^And another one of sci-fi lit's greats is gone. :(

I would have liked to see somebody make a movie of one of her novels, but nobody in Hollywood wants to do that with sci-fi lit unless it's about war.

RIP Tainth Lee.

That is a shame, going to have to rewatch Sarcophagus at the very least. I actually don’t mind Sand, its nowhere near as good but it’s still interesting.

This is sad. She was very young. :(

I've read a lot of her short fiction over the years and she had quite a unique voice. I didn't even know that she wrote in other genres than Fantasy.

RIP, Tanith Lee. :(

...:( Saw her on a "World-building" panel at Noreascon 2 with Larry Niven and Hal Clement... an odd combo but a cool talk.

Very sad to hear. I loved her short fiction in particular. "Bite-Me-Not" is probably my favorite of her many vampire stories.

I had the privilege of acquiring her young-adult "Unicorn" trilogy for Tor Books many years ago, but, alas, never met her in the person.

The night has reclaimed her favorites. First Terry, now this--leaving us in the blinding glare of reality TV shows.

She made the night ever more inviting.
