RIP Rutger Hauer

Enterprise is Great

Vice Admiral
Admiral
Just read that myself on the beeb:(

I only rewatched Fatherland a few months back though there's quite a few things that I enjoyed him in.

RIP:(

He definitely made an impact on cinema and pop culture.

Respect.

There will be many sad BR fans (if true)

I'm sure that a lot of people in the coming days are going to mention his roles in 'Blade Runner', 'Hitcher' and 'Ladyhawke', but I first remember seeing him in the Sylvester Stallone/Billy Dee Williams movie 'Nighthawks' where he played a terrorist who, along with Persis Khambatta (hey a Star Trek actor in a surprising role reference), attacks the New York Tramway.

Flesh and Blood is great little known film of his. He's a 16th century mercenary commander whose army is not payed (allowed to loot and pillage the city they were besieging) and decides to take matters into their own hands to get back at the ruler who double crossed them. Great anti-hero film.

Blade Runner, The Blood of Heroes, Ladyhawke, Flesh&Blood, Buffy, Nighthawks even silly movies like Split Second, Blind Fury and Lexx, I've enjoyed a lot of his flicks since my childhood.
