RIP Leonard Nimoy

I don't know what to say. Mister Spock, the one I grew up with, is gone. The real person who gave Spock onscreen life, the one who was SO gracious to Spock's fans for so many years... He's not there any more.

He had children, grandchildren, tho'.

We lost Spock.

They lost a father and grandfather.

We only have the right to join them in mourning.

:sigh:

Very sad news, but not surprising news. Nimoy was great, smart, talented, and funny. He will always be known for portraying a legendary character in the history of television.

Good bye. RIP.

But you will always be remembered.

Besides Spock, he was fantastic as the Great Paris in Mission Impossible.

I was gutted when De went. And Jimmy, Gene and Majel - but this one stings like an absolute son of a bitch.

Thank you Leonard, for so many wonderful memories. :(

No. - Kirk, ST III

The man was truly an inspiration to me. The world is dimmer now.
Condolences to his family and friends, and to my fellow fans.

Actor, writer, author, auteur, artist. Always so kind, calm, patient and gentle. I hate the cult of celebrity in this country, but he used his fame to touch, connect and nurture many others. The theater named for him here in New York is a wellspring for artistic innovation of all types.

As for us Trek fans, goodness how we will miss him. We grieve.

Nimoy made not only the vulcan seem real but was the role model for every vulcan created afterwards.

Its now impossible to think of a vulcan without thinking of nimoy, no one was better suited physically, tor talentwise for the role of spock.

In later life it kind of typecast him, as it was the legacy he left such was the impact

The Neck pinch was a neat idea. Don't ask me where but I think I saw it used in other sci. fi. things.

I posted this video I made on Leonard's Facebook page and he was kind enough to comment on how much he liked it.
I am going to make another one just for him as I am very very sad.
Meanwhile, thank YOU Mr. Nimoy for all of the years you have made me smile.
