I remember getting a copy of 'I am Spock.' It was a genuinely fascinating read. A look at Nimoy after he had come to terms with everything and time to reflect and in a way embrace what his role in that silly little show meant to a generation.

I remember seeing an interview with one of Nimoy’s friends who advised him to decline the offered role of Spock. He said something to the effect of “Don’t take this job! If you put on those silly ears it will be career suicide!”

So she was still around when they made it. Was there a relative lack of publicity for this one? I never saw BBS threads, film reviews or internet info about it until today.
