RIP Leonard Nimoy

I'll choose the half-full portion of the glass and be glad for his 83 years...I just hope that he didn't suffer too much in the end. :(

^ William Shatner is 4 days older than Leonard Nimoy.

Sad to think that of the "big 3" of TOS, 2 are now gone.

I knew that this day was coming (we all die eventually but I had hoped it wouldn't come so soon) but this is still a punch in the gut. RIP Mr. Nimoy.

It was the smoking, wasn't it?

I think he said that he gave up 30 years too late (in his 50's) he may have been right (possibly could have had much longer)

Oh... God rest his soul. :( I've been dreading this day for a while - I knew it was coming, but I dreaded it all the same.

I lost both parents and maternal grandmother to COPD. I also have it. My mom is the only one who smoked. The rest of us got it from second-hand smoke... other people smoking around us.

Knew it was coming, but it still hurts. RIP, Mr. Nimoy. Say hi to Gene, Majel, De, and Jimmy for us.

Continue to live long and prosper (as it were), Mr. Nimoy. In these minutes that I process this news, I shall do neither.

Another Star Trek legend joins the Great Bird of the Galaxy. RIP Leonard Nimoy and thank you for bringing us many years of adventure.
