Riker and Troi in last episode

Of course. Perhaps even an episode where someone from the future travels back to destroy the NX after having caused harm in Rikers time. The Titan comes back to stop the plot and works with the NX to do it. That or vice-versa: Archer learns of a plot from someone in the past to attack Riker and the Titan in the future. He travels forward, with his vastly inferior ship, to try and stop it.

Either way, it sounds far, far better than TATV.

It sounds like a retread of the Temporal Cold War™ ;)

B&B gave Trekkies plenty of opportunity to spin TATV, so that they could accept whatever happened and just have fun with it. Now, why's that so hard to do? It seems they bent over backwards to accommodate the fans, whilst at the same time, trying to have some fun with the show. Trekkies have much more reason to be angry, over some of the subpar episodes that weren't quite up to snuff, before TATV was ever thought up. After 20 years of STAR TREK, Berman's teams were well-practiced. There should've been almost no misses in ENT ... hits only!

Tatv was a stupid story it was a mess.I like Riker and Troi but I think the show should've been all about the Enterpise cast in the their final episode not Star trek Tng and the Pegasus storyline. Killing Trip off was one of the worst things they did with this aint the valentine.

I'm confident that These Are the Voyages would've garnered popular acceptance if it had simply inserted a Title Card, at the very beginning of the episode, identifying it as being "Just for the Fun of It." A good time would've been had by all, certainly, were that the case ...

Um...dead Trip? Structurally pointless stupid lame out-of-character artificially sacrificial brain-free suicide Trip?

The cast of my beloved show relegated to bits and pieces of a holodeck sim for a Very Special Episode of TNG?

Alas, no fun for me.

One of the biggest things that TATV showed me was that I would've loved to have still been watching TNG in 2005.

If it's any consolation for my being a fan of TATV ... I had nothing to do with the making of it ... I'm completely innocent!
