Rick Sanchez of CNN Slams Joe the Plumber!

 Sounds like someone doesn't like him because he exposed Obama's tax plan.

Actually Joe the Plumber would do better under Obama's tax plan. But hey, don't let the facts get in the way of your plan to undermine the Obama campaign and put McCain into the White House ...

Whoops, too late. :lol::lol::lol:

I can't stand either of them. CNN's pool of talent has dwindled in the last decade but even with the likes of Anderson Cooper or Campbell Brown or the two interchangeable black anchors I can't keep straight, Rick Sanchez still looks bad. The only reason I see CNN keeping Rick Sanchez is that he is the only one who has willingly allowed himself to be tasered or been placed inside a submerged car etc etc:guffaw: He is their chief masochist.

Actually, Rick Sanchez is nearly as irritating as Wolf Blitzer, but he did write a good Blog entry. :rommie:

Joe the Plumber is great. I love how he put a big dent in Obama's campaign.

Yup, he single handedly put McCain in the White House... waittaminute...

That's not what I said.

He probably firsts needs to go back and get his license first. There is no way in hell that this guy should be a reporter, let alone a war correspondent. Those are the kind of people through many years of training and education who are able to move into these kind of situations and put together reports quickly and intelligently.
... and tainted by partisanship. All those 'years of training' slipped away last year as journalism died by embracing Obama and dropping their integrity.

Joe the Douchebag needs to stop being a drain on society and actually do something productive. Like maybe get his plumber's license. Instead, he exposes the hypocriticalness of the Conservatives supporting him.
 Sounds like someone doesn't like him because he exposed Obama's tax plan. Some enough that they pried into his personal records.

Wow, Gertch. It's entertaining to see you still parrot the same old tired conservative talking points -- most of which have been discredited. You crack me up! Well, at least you're good at unintentional humor -- you're so bad you're good! :techman: You are going to have soooo much fun these next four years, I can tell!

"Journalism died by embracing Obama." Funny! I believe both McCain and Obama were fairly vetted by the media and many scurrilous lies about both -- Obama not a citizen, pals around with terrorists, McCain a gambler and womanizer -- were quickly proven wrong.

And there you go again, rambling on about Obama's tax plan. Guess you haven't gotten it that just because repeating a lie over and over again makes it come true isn't exactly working for you on the other side of the aisle. A number of non-partisan sources vetted both McCain's and Obama's plans. They reached the opposite conclusion. It's all about redistribution of wealth, comrade! When you do better under his plan, I hope you have the stones to admit it publicly -- unless you make more than $250,000, and then you're screwed.

And now that he's about to be president, I see plenty of negative stories about his nominees' soft spots -- like Geithner's tax problems, or Holder's involvement in the Marc Rich pardon. If the media were as liberal and biased as you say, these issues would be covered up by those consarn pinko journalists.

Maybe, like France embraces Jerry Lewis as a comic genius, someone out there embraces you as such, and has a little golden statue of you posting on this BBS. Hilarity ensues!

Red Ranger

P.S.: If you hate Massachussets so much, why don't you move to Wyoming, preferably close to Devil's Tower?

Joe the Plumber represents everything that is wrong with the current leadership of the Republican Party in a nutshell.

I am I the only one who does not care what Joe the Plumber does with his life?

Just because it has a shelf life:

I don’t think journalists should be anywhere around war. I mean, you guys report where our troops are at, you report what’s happening day to day, you make a big deal out of it, I think it’s asinine.

I think media should be abolished from, you know, reporting. War is hell.”

And this is why I worry for this country. I can only hope that it's just the few that are somehow finding ways to become more vocal and that this kind of garbage sentiment isn't actually becoming more popular. To make it all sting just a little more, the son of a bitch has the nerve to call himself an "American."

I thought the early attacks against him were pretty wrong. He was just a private citizen who asked a candidate a completely legitimate question. He asked Obama a tougher question than most of the other softballs getting tosses his way at the time.

Now though, he has apparently written a book, is traveling around doing speaking engagements, considered running for office and is currently doing the Israel reporting thing.. He has chosen to make himself a public figure at this point, so attacks and criticism against him are quite fair. He isn't just a man on the street anymore, so he has to be willing to take it.

What was stupid is how the Republican Party tried painting this guy as an example of the "average American" and how the "average American" would be effected by the precieved problems the GOP saw in Obama's tax plans.

I mean, the guy's name is Samuel and the GOP named him "Joe" the most average name ever and then they slammed his occupation right next to it.

They kept saying how Joe will be effected under Obama's plans because that'll hurt "REAL America" and Joe the Plumber is REAL America.

When in all reality the GOP couldn't give two more shits about Real Americans than they think the Democrats do. Unless "Real America" is the just the 1% or so of millionares and billionares that are out there who've done pretty damn well over the last 8 years while the middle class shrinks and those less fortuante suffer hardships and turmoils just trying to keep food on their plates.

And in the ultimate irony "Joe the Plumber" will do BETTER under Obama's tax plan than he would've under McCain's.

And then the smug asshole tells the media how it should operate -as mouthpiece for propaganda.

Get this guy out of the spotlight and back under the sink.
