Revolution Season 2 - spoilers

So far I am liking the new direction, but is anyone else surprised that it airs at 8:00 PM? It seems quite violent to air so early.

7pm here in the Mountain Time Zone, so yeah.. a bit early, but really comprared to other stuff on around this time, it isn't too bad.

The Walker Texas Ranger thing was funny as was Aaron telling the kids the plot of Ghostbusters. Dead rats...brrrrrrrrrrrrr. That Titus Andover guy is way creepy...child porn and molesting...guy needs to die. Willoughby reminds me too much of Woodbury from The Walking Dead.

Yes, Titus is very creepy. I hope he dies a very creative death at the hands of Miles.

I thought this was good episode. Pretty much all of the stories moved forward in interesting directions.
I wonder what caused the computers to crash and then go boom in the Tower? I'm pretty sure there had to be someone or something behind that.
I'm wonder if Neville actually killed the ex-Rebel or just pretended to so he could get close to Allenford?

So, you think her security guys wouldn't have examined the body to determine it's actually dead?

Also, the look of surprise on the rebel's face pretty much indicates he wasn't in on that part of Neville's plan.

So Google guy is now a firefly warg who can make people spontaneously combust in his dreams? Yeah ok, sure, why not?

I think the Season 1 story was much more interesting. This is just a rehash of Jericho Season Two. The only thing holding my interest now is the nanites.

After some of the silliness of last season I was ready to delete this from my DVR. I am pleasantly surprised by this new season. I have liked all of the episodes so far this season.
But I did see the "Aaron, god of the nanites" coming from a mile away. He developed the code for the bugs. My guess is that it is some sort of AI that looks at him as the "creator" or something.

I'm very curious to see exactly where they are going with Aaron and the nanites now. Really enjoyed the last episode.

I'm wondering why the "US government" is just letting Rachel wandering around Willoughby instead of locking her up. According to the wanted posters Monroe and Charlie found they want her captured so why does she get to wander all over town without being taken into custody?

Neville is one ruthless son of a bitch. It would be an interesting twist to his revenge mission if it turns out that his wife survived the nuking of Atlanta. Would he continue on or take her and get out of Dodge?

Rachel is the Revolution version of Lost's Jack Sheppard. Both characters have a need to fix things whether it's they fault or not and they're very obsessive about it. But this is a Bad Robot show and they to tend to deal with the same type of characters and themes a lot. Interesting that Elizabeth Mitchell is on both shows.

Rachel is in the custody of the US Government, on a reasonably long leash.

Outside the walls means death.

What's the end game here?

They wouldn't have man power enough to hold more than a couple hundred towns, after 10 years of planning how this is going to go down.

And they don't need to hold them.

Force is stupid.

Plant a flag, conscript a militia and garrison using the friendly local faces, while moving on to the next town.

The "idea" of America is strong enough to hold the civilized areas in one piece.

Meanwhile this talk of "purity" sounds like there's an ethnicity they want to remove.

An it's not the African Americans this time... Could there really be enough Jews left to warrant this more forethought?

This is like Tinkerbell?

You die if you stop believing in America?

Clap as hard as you can and America will come back to life!

So Google guy is now a firefly warg who can make people spontaneously combust in his dreams? Yeah ok, sure, why not?
It's more like the show is actually about the nanites (hence the flickering "Evolution" title), and now that they've gained a level of sentience, they see Aaron as a god-like figure since he was able to send them commands at the bunker. Or something along those lines, anyway.

Unless he is the chosen one.

I assumed it was because he was in the room when Rachel reprogrammed the nanites to fix her leg, and now they both have nanites in them fixing everything.

Then they started forwarding visions and setting people on fire.

The nanites clearly have a mind of their own.

Did they show her picture in wanted poster or was it just her name? I'm pretty sure it was just her name, and in that case maybe none of the Patriots have found out who she is. They're also in control of the town that she's in, so maybe that's enough control for them at the moment. I have a feeling if she ran into them outside of town then they probably would grab her.

I don't think he would continue since his whole purpose is getting revenge for her death. I wouldn't put it past the writers to have something else happen to keep him working against the Patriots though.
