Review that episode!

Great episode: A transporter accident mixed with some kind of electric phenomenon switches the minds of Kirk, Uhura, McCoy and Scotty (I think I got them all) with the minds of their alter egos in some crewed up alternate reality (and not their bodies since they're wearing the other people's costumes) where most every one is a selfish evil bastard (even the women). This will be known henceforth as the Mirror Universe. Mirror Spock is a bit of a hard ass but to his defense he's one of better ones, or less evil ones if you will. After tasting the joy of being in a world where most of the people surrounding you are potential traitors. Our little group find a way to put things back to the way they were but they're almost stopped by Alt-Spock who finally lets them go after Kirk has planted in his mind the seed of dissent.

Turnabout Intruder

Turnabout Intruder reminds me of how Bob Justman described some of the low budget 3rd season episodes....he called them 'radio shows' because it was just talk, talk, talk. "Life Entity Transfer" is an interesting concept and I think the writer and director tried to create a entertainng episode, but Shatner made humorous and derogatory comments about TI in his book. TOS essentially ended with this very unusual episode.

Meanwhile, Catspaw needs to be reviewed....

How about a planet of fog, dungeons, oubliettes, and giant cats? Well, that's what we got here. After the obligatory redshirt dies, of fear apparently. Kirk, Spock, McCoy and others go down the planet. Two aliens are actually the cause of it and they're not even from this galaxy. After a few scenes more bizarre than the ones preceding them, Kirk takes some magic wand that seems to be the source of the alien's power and breaks it on an illusory table. Everything disappears and the aliens transform into string puppets, which seems to be their normal appearance. Below average.

Miri

Miri....

"Study, study, study or bonk, bonk!"
"Blah, blah, blah!"
"No more blah, blah, blah!"

Those are my highlights from Miri:sigh:

Now taking the turbolift to Deck 5 and The Enterprise Incident....
