If you look at the image of the crack in the Liberty Bell you can see that the crack is like a path through the darkness or space where the top bolt meant to keep the crack from getting any bigger and the one near the base of the bell.
What is significant about the Liberty Bell is that it is shaped like the Earths magnetic field which can be seen here.

I am certain that the Founding Fathers did not have a method to understand the EM field let alone build a bell that would resemble the shape of the liberty so precisely aligned with the shape of the Earths EM Field. So why did they design Liberty Bell in the manner that they did? Was it alien intervention of showing humanity the way or is it the combined methodology of all of the faiths of the world combined into one moment in time that would resonate across the planet when the Bell is struck? The crack in the Bell in my opinion is a path from which we came from to Earth of a path that we must follow when leaving
Earth into space.
I think that it is the ladder, a hidden foot path that humans must follow when leaving Earth. If you look closely near the top of the crack the bolt would represent Earth with the top of the bell facing towards the sun, that like the Liberty Bell protects the cause of liberty and freedom so to does the EM Field protect Earth. The bolt is situated between the P and M with the bolt making the letter O.
From this point we have several words present each letter being a key to locking mechanism of the heavy oaken doors with iron castings and locks, that when turned in various directions will unlock the door, Some letter like P becoming becoming two new letters, B and D. POW,MOP,BOW,POE,BOE,DOE. I think the correct combination is Bow ,like the bow of a ship challenging the seas like the wooden ships of old there was a deck hand, a slave or POW with MOP in hand that looked up into the night sky and felt the heart beat under the wooden planks of the ship or like the heart beat of POE.
If we follow the crack in the bell to the outer edge of the bell there are rings farther away with the second bolt that would represent a planet or way point within the asteroid belt or rings surrounding a planet such as Jupiter or Saturn
that would be used as shelter for out ship. The bolt could represent Ceres from which to launch mining endeavors from to gather resources to continue the exploration of humanity into the unknowns of space, the crack being a path of direction that when overlaid in space from Earth and aligned correctly would illuminate the path we are to take into the heavens above.
I just happened to come across this when I was looking at the EM Fields of Earth, the Moon and other planets to determine the best method for detecting an Earth like planet in space. As you can see The moon has a very weak EM Field compared to the planet as the planet passes in front of the sun. The particles emanated from the sun should fluctuate around the

This means that an atmosphere would not be present to sustain life because of the solar winds and solar radiation basically blowing their atmospheres away from the planet. The Moon and Mars do have the same bell shaped EM Field of Earth. This means that an atmosphere would not be present to sustain life because of the solar winds and solar. When looking for a planet that is similar to Earth the planet's EM Field should leave a signature against the sun around radiation basically blowing their atmospheres away from the planet. The Moon and Mars do have the same bell shaped EM Field of Earth. This means that an atmosphere would not be present to sustain life because of the solar winds and solar planet in the same manner as door Earth as the more harmful radiation is directed across the EM Field and away from the planet thus allowing the planet to retain its atmosphere and thus more capable of sustaining life.
If you look at other bell shapes across the planet I would also be certain to say that they are representative of the EM fields of planets in our solar system...or that reside on the outside of our solar system.
