Return Of The Archons - on tonight (east)

Noticed Return Of The Archons is on WUHF tonight at 3am (FOX49 on Eastlink cable- so channel 49), this is my only chance to see this. Thought I'd mention it to those in the eastern regions. I got the listing from zap2it.

That channel is only available in your local area.

Also, that episode is being shown all over the country this weekend. The schedule is the same everywhere.

What varies is what local channel carries TOSR in a given area, and exactly when they run it.

WUHF is a local FOX channel, only available in your local area.

It isn't available to everyone "in the eastern regions".

It's only in your town/city and its immediate area. A hundred miles away (or even less), that channel can't be seen and possibly some other channel has the rights to TOSR.

Wow, US TV is so (necessarily I suppose) complicated.

The only main differences throughout the UK's TV transmissions are the Welsh language TV in Wales on Channel 4 and the odd bit of difference in local news.

When you span five time zones and almost every city has it's own independent channel (or channels) it can get a bit interesting. Only the networks generally have fixed schedules across the country. The independents (where most places are airing Trek) are free to schedule whatever they want whenever they want.

You know, Mallory, about the British and how they think time starts with them.

Oh wait, it does...

Righto, I've no idea about the particulars... I live on an island! So I generalized with "east", hoping there was some syncronisity in broadcasting.

I even managed to stay up late enough to see most of the ep but fell asleep! Man, it takes dedication to watch these shows. I hope the CBS-CGI guys appreciate this.
