Yeah, they could've done a better job on the Gorn. Instead they went the route of trying to make it look like a "raptor" from Jurassic Park. I agree that if they had used some of the original design elements it would've come off better. Still enjoyed the episodes, though.

^^I wouldn't have minded a CG Gorn, if it looked like the original. And some kind of explanation for why it moved the way it did.

Oh, didn't you know that the Gorn are a hierarchy of species? Dominated by the barely mobile humanoids, served by the agile and big-mouthed hunter-warriors, the long-necked construction workers, and the highly evolved but legless slithering spies?

(IIRC, some of the RPGs actually went for that angle.)
