Spoilers Resident Alien (2020 SyFy)

Damaged during his escape in a previous season. Loss is described in this episode in the spoiler.
From the discussion with the Deputy, his legs were hit by bullets, he can't tell her how (because it would put the deputy's life in danger), but probably when he escaped to go to look for his son, and were damaged. In their dialog in the cave, while he eats and spits out the food, he discusses how he thought it was over when he lost his legs. His mechanical legs are in the cave with him and are detached, probably by the tools he has in front of him.
Oh OK, I thought maybe we actually saw what happened and I forgot.

I watched the premiere via SYFY's official YouTube channel yesterday afternoon. So now I'm "caught up". Now that I'm aware the show's back, I'll make sure to set my DVR.

Last night's episode was one of the funnier episodes of the series. Love what Joseph is bringing to the show and Gjokaj is great in the role. Loved the stuff with Bruce and Mike realizing that he finally saw an Alien. For some reason, this season is reminding me a little of Austin Powers 2 and Austin losing his Mojo. I'm sure both are completely unrelated, but it was the first thing that came to mind.

Yeah I saw it when they reshowed it this morning and it was a ton of fun. The aftermath of Joseph's fight with the Mantid was probably my favorite scene, and Mike's reaction when he saw Peter was pretty good too. All of the stuff with Bruce was pretty fun too.
I'm curious now that Mike, Liv, and the Hawthornes all know aliens are real, if they'll be learning about Harry some time soon.

DVR'd it and watched it early Saturday morning. I'm certain many of us caught the "nod" to the way a standard episode of "The Incredible Hulk" would close with Bill Bixby trying to hitch a ride as a lamentful piano dirge plays. But I feel like a schmuck for not making the connection to the title of this week's RA episode, "The lonely Man". That's the name of the piano piece composed for "The Incredible Hulk". Oh, I made the connection when I saw the title again after watching the episode, but I should have figured it out as soon as those first few chords were played! D'OH!!!

Oh, it seems that both the USA Network and the SYFY YouTube channels are hosting this week's episode. I figured they might have done that just for the premiere. But with two in a row, I suspect they will all of this season's episodes online.

Oh yeah, I forgot about when they had The Incredible Hulk Lonely Man music playing as Joseph walked away from the house with his duffle bag, that was hilarious. I'm really impressed they went for joke like that, I'm not sure there are many people who would get that reference today.

Heather being back now that Harry as accepted being human makes me excited for the episodes to come. This was a pretty emotional episode too. Kate's starting to remember and if this is it for McAllister, she got a nice send off.

So that IS Jewel! I wasn't 100% positive.
I would say of the entire cast she has had the more drastic change apparence wise. I've been seeing clips of her on YouTube on occasion and I was surprised how much she has changed. She isn't that 19 year old who played Kaylee/Dr Keller anymore.

Yeah, that was unexpected and really cool!

I loved D'arcy talking Harry out of selling out his planet.

"This is Operation Mantiscide, the preying maqntis has several natural predator, bats, spiders and birds. We don't have time to collect enough bats and spiders, and I'm afraid of birds since one got into my bedroom. So instead I developed a weapons grade Mantiscide, with neem oil, which is a natural pesticide, and also good for dandruff."

Hindsight is 20/20.

I use neem oil on my fruit and nut trees to get rid of scale, I haven't seen it do anything to an inch long mantis, much less one that is 7 feet tall.

It wasn't my favorite episode of the season. I expected to spend a little more time with Heather but at the end of the episode we were right back where we were before the episode started. The only different is the Grays are watching Kate, but I think we knew that anyway. The vomiting thing was pretty gross too.
