Rename the Forum to just "Star Trek"?

Even though it is the 11th Star Trek film to be produced its actually the first in a new series so its as much ST11 as Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are Batman 5 & 6 (and yes I know Bond gives us the other side of the argument but Im following Batman logic).

Comparing Batman and Star Trek is totally different, Star Trek has lot more history. Even if Star Trek will be rebooted on the screen ... it doesn't mean it is dead, as there are other projects planned like novels and games.

Personally it should be left until more is known about the movie. For example the last movie, it was known as Star Trek X for some while as forum on the board.

How, Batman has been around alot longer than Trek and in many more forms, the fanbase is just more used to change as each version has had its differences.

Star Trek 2009 would be the best name for the forum as the question "is it a reboot" doesnt matter, its the Star Trek film being released in 2009, if it is film no I or XI will be argued to death either way even if it is a reboot.

"Star Trek. No, not that one, the other one. No, no, the one to the left. Your left, I said. Further left. One more. Yeah, that one. Yup."

Too long?

You and I have been talking about this inevitable reboot for years. You have always been more excited about it than I am. I'm not against it, by any means. But I have more of a wait-and-see attitude.

I think my predisposition is almost always to be enthusiastic (and yeah, I get disappointed a lot. It doesn't hurt very much or for very long).
