Yeah, I like it. A fun, final romp with the guy that kept me watching Voyager to the bitter end - the uptight, opera-singing, charismatically introverted hologram. A bit absurd, true, with a few obvious plot twists, but bizarre fun.
Incidental pluses:
*One last appearance of the Hierarchy aliens, who featured in the absolutely hilarious "Tinker Tenor Doctor Spy", a true classic of the Doc.
*No appearances of Neelix, who had left in the prior episode.

Not a fan. In fact I think it's one of the weakest episodes of the entire series, an ill-conceived rehash of the previous episode where the doctor inhabited 7's body. And I didn't see that the captain was in any danger. Most of the time, she was just sitting in the alien's cell looking like she was waiting for a bus. It was a particular waste when you realize that as the penultimate episode, some of that time could have been spent setting up the finale.

It was entertaining enough. There were some glaring flaws in it though. Don't ask me what they were as I haven't watched it since it originaly aired. So I forgot what those flaws were.
IMHO, now that would have been a waste of time. Even considering the obvious - that the finale was pretty underwhelming and not worth dwelling more time on - VOY followed a TNG-style formula of virtually zero arcs and minimal character progression. There was really nothing VOY needed wrapping up that couldn't have been done in the final two hours, and it's not this episode's fault this wasn't done.
I liked it well enough but agree Janeway didn't seem to be in that much danger. I just got thru watching this one after putting it off for weeks. Seems I had inadvertently gotten it mixed up with "Inside Man" which is another one of my not-so-favorite eps, so I wasn't looking forward to viewing it.
Anyhow, the excitement with this one was about tepid. Not unwatchable but yes, just a tad on the underwhelming side of things. I guess with the finale approaching I kept mistakenly thinking they should be racheting up the peril.

Agreed. I mentioned in another thread (in the DS9 forum concerning "Dogs of War") that it's difficult to make a good penultimate episode, but I was pretty disappointed in this one. Instead of laying the groundwork for the finale, it ended up being just your basic alien threat with a bit of holographic rights story on the side (been there, done that). A wasted opportunity, IMO.
