I would have liked this episode even more if they had used the original Braxton actor. I hate it when they recast established characters. The same goes for Admiral Paris, Senator Creetak and Praetor Neral. It just doesn't make sense!

A smaller moment I really liked was seeing The Doctor activated prior to Voyager's launch.
He was his good old snarky self, annoying the hell out of Janeway and the Admiral and getting shut off in the middle of his sentences.
I always thought he lost something once they made him more friendly and had the crew treat him more like a person and less like a program.

Relativity is one of my favorites as well. I was watching this with my Dad, and he had the idea to base a new Trek series on Captain Braxton and his time ship. I thought it was a good idea, one that would switch it up a little but I fear that too many people would get sick of the time travel element too quickly.
Good point; the flashbacks in this episode were invaluable.
OK by now some regulars here might know of my opinion that Voyager is my least fav series, but that Voyager spawned quite a number of ST's best eps of all time, case in point: Relativity!! I love this episode, right from the time travel elements , down to the starship (a UFP timeship!) and Braxxton's dialogue.

So they have to cast another actor.
When I first started watching this episode, I thought there was some kind of cataloging error and I was watching the first episode again.. But soon realized it was an episode about time travel and such.
I enjoyed it, kind of off beat from the rest of the episodes.
