References to rock music in Voyager episodes and books

Sorry for late addition but I had to re-read some of the Voyager books before I found this one again:

I love the Kinks! You've outdone yourself, Lynx! LOL!!

The "worst of the Kinks," is either Ray or Dave. They're both naughty boys.
Maybe Tuvok blames Ray. It looks that way in the picture.

Honestly, you are right.

Fascinating with two brothers in the same band who argue as much as they did. They didn't even speak to each other for some years, despite being in the same band.

As for music, they are great! I hope that Tuvok can agree on that too.

Not sure how patterned pants were popular, but he sure does stand out...

But the hairdos need to make comebacks.

I can only agree.I don't wear patterned pants but I still have my heavy-metal hairdo because I refuse to sell out and adapt to a decade which trends I hate.

Pacria knew something was going on. She could tell by the volume of Traffic in the corridors. She could see the crewpeople in their variously colored uniforms rushing in and out of the turbolifts.

From the Voyager book Her Klingon Soul by Michael Jan Friedman.

Good for you. If I hadn't started going bald, I'd have kept my hair long as well. But with my receding hairline, I look more like Ben Franklin than Ozzy Osbourne.

Isn't the band KISS a member of the Federation? But for some reason they've changed their name to "the Naussicans."

Anyway, classic rock is actually going to be a recurring theme on a fanfuf series I'm planning, but that won't get off the ground for a while.
