References to other Trek MASSIVE SPOILERS!!

The NX-01 amongst Admiral Bastard's desk models.
Right next to the NX-Alpha from ENT: "First Flight" and the Ringship Enterprise XCV-330 from background art in The Motion Picture and Enterprise. I think I also saw a model of ENT's "warp delta" from the opening credits but am not 100% sure.

I loved that they managed to answer the four-year fan debate about Enterprise's place in both timelines with something so minor that fitted perfectly into the scene.

YES, that is beautiful.

I am soooo looking forward to being able to hit pause and study all that :D

^Me too! I'm sure there's a LOT of stuff I missed throughout thr movie on my first viewing.
Random question but does Spock Prime look exactly as in 2009? New costume or one from the first movie?
New costume. It looked like was wearing robes (although we only saw his head and shoulders). His hair wasn't as grey as STXI, I guess he got some Just For Vulcans.

I didn't really mind the superfluous cameo, but I thought Nimoy looked great! He seemed much too thin in Star Trek (2009), but looked very healthy here. What I saw of the custome looked cool, too. The shoulder pads he wore in the last movie were ridiculous.

I thought McCoy flirting about his "legendary hands" could've been a reference to when Dax talked about him having the hands of a surgeon.

Am I stretching it to mention Kirk and Khan's 'space walk' as being similar to Data's in NEM - except with space suits.

When pike said to kirk they gave the enterprise back to him,i was waiting for kirk to say gave her back i doubt it was easy ,and the bald woman helmsmen is she illia ?

She made me think of a Deltan too but who knows if she's just a Starfleet officer who's bald?

This might be tenuous but when Kirk and co are using the lift (I think going to the shuttle bay?) the lift number pauses on B9, reference to that awful character in Nemesis.

Yeah I know lame...

Also from the comics, I know the Tribble was mentioned, but its specifically the Tribble that died in the comic that is resurrected and Cupcakes name from the comics is mentioned, Hendorff.

When they are rescuing Spock from the volcano, McCoy's line is almost straight out of Immunity Syndrome. Enterprise in the atmosphere flying away from the volcano, reminds me of Tomorrow is Yesterday. The Enterprise being a ship out at sea, literally in the movie, was used a ruse by Kirk in Bread and Circuses. The hands on the glass a reference to Wrath of Khan. I can't wait to see the movie tomorrow. I just got the above from the trailers.

You'll probably have to see it more than once to get them all, I missed out on several important parts of the Kirk/Marcus conversation cause I was staring at the desk with all the past starships on it and then was thinking "omg section 31"

After my second viewing, I think that was Zefram Cochrane's Phoenix on the desk next to the NX-01 and not the NX-alpha like I'd originally thought.

Also, the "won't fit" ship chase, from the trailers it reminds me of the Asteroid chase from Empire Strikes Back
