Reference jokes they should've done

Am I right in seeing that Prodigy was the one to do the Star Trek fan culture episode with the Enderprizians rather than Lower Decks going back to Sigma Iotia II or somewhere?
you are correct.. though IMO i think that Prodigy was the better place for it. since it allowed the episode to not only expose new viewers to TOS in a positive light, but also to use it to give a social lesson about cooperation, acceptance, and morality, and not judging people. (which is part of the lesson the prodigy crew needed to learn about starfleet values.)

as opposed to how lower decks probably would have handled it, which would likely have been summed up as "look at all this silly TOS stuff, isn't it funny how iotans just copy stuff", which would overpowered any message the episode was trying to give the viewer.

Boimler has a dream where he's a TikTok influencer who makes up stories about his time on a space ship and the end of the episode has us wondering whether Boimler or SpaceCreator2002 is the real person.

@Annorax849 It's mentioned once in dialogue.

T'LYN: It will be 2.47 times more perilous if you remain uninformed of the details.

Crisis Point 3 featuring the Exodus device, which unleashes the power of the ten plagues of Egypt, or the Revelations device, which lets loose the apocalypse.

Mariner and Freeman obviously grew up on the Enterprise and it's kind of insane they never say it explicitly.

I dont really agree, I think it would have fit pretty perfectly in their arc criticizing the Federation not following up enough on places they go to and that message always came across in the episodes it was meant to despite the comedy imo. That being said Im still happy Prodigy got the story.

Freeman clearly didn't "grow up" on the Enterprise, as she would have already been an adult when the ship was launched Even if Mariner were a child living on the Enterprise D, saying she grew up on it would be a stretch. Assuming Freeman was assigned to the ship in TNG's first season, Mariner would have been fourteen at the time. And Mariner definitely would have been gone by TNG's fifth season, given we see her attending the Academy during the year that season took place.
