Redo the Friday's Child Klingon ship?

This is a low poly concept that same ship I had done a year or so ago. I tried to cross proportions with what Jefferies had as a one-persion Starfleet space-tug, so the operator would be in an upright position in that little upright area.

The nice thing about this idea is that, from certain angles, you could come up with a horseshoe crab motif (which is more apparent in the top view,) albeit with an upswept tail that would likley break it's back. ;)
Now this is interesting! Mariner, are you ever gonna finish this puppy?

Possibly, though it's not big on my list right now. I'm struggling with trying to link my Linksys Wireless Router to accept wireless internet access, but it's being a bitch right now. I'm also awating an order for my student Autocad 2007, which will give me much more control over the shape and outlines than I had in Milkshape and MSWord.

It's kind of sad that they reused the D7 model, mainly because it doesn't fit the dialogue at all. Getting better with the starfield though.

Well pictures from the ep, including the klingon ship are up on trekmovie.com. Profile looks like a normal D7 to me but I guess it could be different up close.
Those bastards beat me!

Here're mine:

Looks vaguely Klingon. Dialogue has it at extreme distance.

Joe, looks vaguely human

Looks kind of like a D7 with the forward bridge sphere/module flatter and more stretched-out. And there doesn't appear to be any warp/impulse-related structure on the top of the back/stardrive section of the ship like you have on other Klingon ships.

Maybe this is the mysterious "D6" that we've never seen before(unless the big 22nd century Klingon cruiser in "Unexpected(ENT)" is actually a D6 forerunner to the ships of the TOS era).

I don't know if we have any CGI artists here, but it would be nice to see what this:

...would even look like if it was at all possible to make a CGI model out of it.

I imagine that this is the starboard profile of an as-yet-unseen Klingon ship. The lower "strut" would be D7-like nacelles, rolled sideways. We're basically looking edge-on, "top-down" at them. The upper "strut" would be the aft section of the main hull, again viewed edge-on. The connecting section would wing-like nacelle struts.

Between the nacelle struts and hanging beneath the main hull would be a D7-like command pod.

I imagine the length of this ship to be about 1/3 to 1/2 that of the D7.

I would like to see the ship redone.
