Spoilers Red Alert. Images from the Finale are leaking online. Get off twitter, reddit, and youtube ASAP.

I don't know what you're talking about. I just jumped in with a general comment back there. I haven't a clue who was leaking/hinting/teasing/whatever. You must have me confused with some other poster. Anyway, I've said my peace. Being a moderator on another board, I know about people pushing things.
In the larger context of the conversation, you were saying that people in this thread who haven't specified the sites to avoid suck...whether you realized you were doing so or not.

Ah, who remembers the spoilery good times with SuperShadow in a galaxy far, far away? ;)

For me, the finale is pretty much locked inside a Schrödinger's Cat Box until I actually view it. Whereby all the characters are either dead or not, assimilated or not, holograms or not.

I read the article. And Star Trek Legacy is no more a thing now than it was when Matalas made it clear that it was just an idea of his that Paramount has no intention of making.

How do you know Paramount has no intention of making,? Where you privy to this? I know its just an
Idea at the moment . And theres no current plans. But how do you know its confirmed that's its an idea that Paramount has no intentions to doing?

Because Matalas said so.

Because Matalas said so.

Here's the quote

Terry Matalas: Let me be clear - THERE IS NOTHING IN DEVELOPMENT AT PARAMOUNT - Again, I need to be clear on this.

=
No production of any sorts has started on this

This is just a pie-in-the-sky wish on my part.
= Matalas has an idea that he likes for a new show

It would be amazing if one day they came to me and said they were interested, but as of press time, it's little more than a "hey, wouldn't that be neat!" But hey, stranger things have happened!

= He would rejoice if they came back to him to let him know it's a go.

Where in the article does it say this idea was outright shot down by Paramount as a possibility?

Aldo didn't Kurtzman say other projects like mini series and TV movies have been discussed? So it seems me they would open to different ideas

I didn’t say it was shot down. I said that they have no intention of making it. It’s pretty self-explanatory with what you quoted that this is just wishful thinking on Matalas’s part.

So similar to the idea of a Pike show . Except that idea was driven by fans but this is driven by showrunner , actors and fans.

Kurtzman said they have discussed other projects Too early to stay what they intend to do either way

It is a fallacy that SNW was created because of the fans. And it doesn’t matter what the showrunners, actors and fans want now, because what Paramount+ will produce will be based on a cost-analysis of what type of show will be inexpensive to produce for the returns it gets.

If so, Anson Mount himself has been a perpetrator of this fallacy.

I'm sure showrunners are involved in the decision matrix of corporate people on what direction to take

Kurtzman? What does he know? If we're to believe certain people, he's not involved in anything that Lord Terry has placed his midas touch upon. Terry will just will this series into existence.

All I'm saying is that we have not heard officially from Paramount that they will *not* do a Picard spinoff. And Kurtzman hasn't denied it as a possibility We don't know either way

You’re welcome to believe what you want. I believe there’s not going to be a Star Trek Legacy show, because Paramount has no plans to indulge Matalas’s fantasy.

I don't believe anything. That's my point. A belief is thinking something will happen without facts. I'm saying we don't know either way. We don't know what's is in the minds of Paramount exects. Paramount won't indulge in Matalas's fantasy? I claim we do don't know. You think you know this to be true. Fine to each their own.

They've made it abundantly clear since they started doing the media rounds before the new season aired that the crew want to do more (not just Matalas) and that is depends entirely on how the show does. What those metrics are we don't know, even if we had access to that type of data we don't know what they want. Do they want to see a significant portion of the audience watching other programs on P+ or are they happy if a significant portion watch only Trek for example? We have zero idea other than what the crew have said - production and actors included.
