Part of me is wondering if the whole finale / end-credits spoilers have been in front of us the whole time (i.e. we've heard the space dock diagram discussion from earlier on in the thread) but what about the whole Frontier Day poster we've seen? (picture in the background of the bar in Episode 3x01 with Riker/Picard)
My personal view has been "no they won't go full Legacy ships because it's a TNG finale film and they've already blown their Budget on casting and set builds", and I think my assumption on the Frontier Day posters were that they were just an homage of big ships from the fleet / Trek series. But Michael Okuda posted the Frontier Day poster a few days ago and I believe there may be a chance of this only being a TNG finale is a slight red herring i.e. we may get more than we bargained for i.e. Voyager, Enterprise-A, Defiant (maybe NX-01?). I think it's unrealistic to assume every living original cast member from every show is unrealistic, but perhaps a few select legacy characters may appear (i.e. we know Tim Russ has already made a cameo and we know that other Trek cast members have been tracking Picard Season 3 closely).
Encourage everyone to take a look but these are the pictures I'm referring to. This could just be a typical promo picture but feels like the 'background Easter eggs' are actually real eggs. Either way, TNG finale or broader 'legacy' episode are fine with me!
