Recommend me some older Xbox360 games

So a few weeks ago i finally bought a 360 and a few games with it and it being on the market there's tons of games around i need to catch up so here's where i need your help.

I'm mostly into strategy games but i got that covered with my PC, what i bought the 360 for is action games and such.

I already have bought Halo 3, Deus Ex and Gears of War 3 and finished them. Additionally i have Street Fighter 4 and Soul Calibur 4 because i also like Beat em Ups (maybe will buy Tekken sometime too).

So what older games do i need to play? I pretty much played all the major, non console exclusives of the last few years at my PC, i.e. Mass Effect 1-2, Dragon Age 1-2, Batman Arkham Asylum, Fallout 3 (and Fallout Las Vegas) etc.

So what older games would you recommend to get the best ones out of the way before i can concentrate on new releases?

Halo Reach
Call of Duty: Modern Warefare (series)
Red Dead Redemption
Bioshock
Tekken 6
Dead or Alive 4
Earth Defence Force
Army of Two (series)
Elders Scroll 4 Oblivion
Fallout 3
Mass Effect

Hitman: Blood Money
Burnout Paradise
Defense Grid The Awakening (XBLA)

A bit off topic, but while I've owned a 360 for years, I never got around to playing Gears of War. I actually bought a used copy a year ago or so for like $15, but it sat at the bottom of my game shelf collecting dust. About three days ago I actually popped it into my machine to see what all the fuss is about, given all the Gears hype with the third game.

Oh. My. God. I had no idea how utterly, completely awesome this game is.

Needless to say after finishing the campaign I ran out and bought Gears 2 and 3. Now I know what I'll be busy with until Skyrim comes out ...

Gears Of War 1 & 2
Saints Row 2, certainly, and 1 if you want.
Crackdown
Hitman Blood Money
Dead Rising
Rainbow Six Vegas
Need For Speed Carbon

Gears 1 was the first game I had for my 360 that made me think "Hey, maybe this Xbox thing wasn't a colossal waste of money after all."

Condemned Criminal Origins(Play with earphones on and you will be jumping all over the place, the sound atmosphere is awesome).

PGR4(The racing game to put all other racing games to shame, even today).

Perfect dark Zero(Sequal to PD on the N64)

Kameo(Rare at their best in this fantatsic roaming puzzler, dont let the cute graphics put you off, this is a solid game from start to finish)

Prey( Portal meets ID4).

I would also recommend Condemned: Criminal Origins.

It's a truly rare bird: a first-person fighter. And it works. Plus, it's a good survival-horror game.

Think it's fun shooting enemies? Wait till you get to beat the shit out of them with two-by-fours, pieces of rebar, pipes, boards, desk drawers, locker doors, paper-cutter blades, and more. Not to mention the more usual tools like axes, crowbars, meat cleavers, sledgehammers, and shovels.

And you can shoot them, too, if you want. But that's not nearly as much fun as beating someone down with a department-store mannequin's arm.

Halo: Reach
Halo 3: ODST (maybe)
Halo 2 (it's backwards compatible AFAIK)
Halo: Combat Evolved (but the anniversary edition is coming out soon so wait for that)

They're both backwards compatible, but I'd advise playing them on the original Xbox. The 360's emulation mode is sometimes a little sluggish.

Also, FP, do get the GOTY edition of TES IV: Oblivion from Amazon UK - it comes with ALL the addons, which makes it a pretty good value.

Fable is good although the 2nd one is sometimes very lagging. Bioshock 1&2 are definatly wicked. There was one that my brother had me play, i believe it was called 99 Knights. If your into adventure RPG's i definatly recomment that one. Assasain's Creed is another good choice too.
