Recomand some boards dealing with SW EU.

Do you have ties to
Supershadow
?

No relation to Supershadow.

Is it hard to get banned from there? What happened?

Fairly easy, i posted to many avatars when i was not supposed to and before that i was banned for a year because i forgot to send an unban request in time.

Thay re a strict board.

Somebody actually might be able to help me.

They have my ip aka fingerprints. Somebody from here could register a username for me and i would just sell myself as an american instead of a romanian.

Isn't registration closed on TF.N cause of the server move?

How's that going to help? You'll still be posting from the same IP.

^IP's don't work like that. If your using the computer from your home they will always sus out the IP from their end. The only way you could get around it is say, using your computer at the coffee shop down the street from their wireless. That would give you a new IP. But only while your in the coffee shop.

A free proxy like TOR would work too. But they'd realize it was a proxy and boot ya'. Been a long while since I've been over there (stupid drama over the fact that I was using the same screenname here as someone over there had--pure accident), but like I knew they didn't take well to proxies.

I spend time at Stardestroyer.net, their Star Trek section is small, but it's basically a Star Wars board first and other stuff second. You should find a lot of Star Wars Extended Universe stuff there.

:)

I was originaly banned for some minor nonsense. I had 72 hours to request to be unbanned but i forgot about. So i was permabanned. I used all the computers in the college where i created other nicks which were banned. They offered me to rejoin the boards in x months because they got tired of banning me all the time. So i rejoined.

I started to making avatars but i forgot they will son move from IGN to heck knows were so we were prohibited from making new icons. i was warned more then once but i forgot.

Now i am permabanned again.

I dont know, some computer expert said thAT I GOT AN ALWAYS CHANGING IP SO I CANNOT BE TRACKED AND TARGETED BY A BUNCH STUPID ADS.

dO THEY KNOW MY LOCATION?

Unless you're running something like Hotspot Shield or TOR, then yeah they're always going to know it's you cause you're location is the same. And I don't think having a dynamic IP is doing to much to stop ads; that's more a security thing and how your browser is handling cookies-- I think.

So what's the deal with the supposed move? A friend of mine does not believe it is going to happen, thinks they are just stalling on it because no one is going to pony up the money.

What I heard is that TFN has not accepted new members for 6 months and that the move was discussed well before that. Sounds like it's going down the gurgler (or the trash compactor).

They've been planning a move for years. It's apparently really happening this time sometime soon ish (January or December was the anticipated date. Ha!)
