So I saw "Las Vegas" and caught the line about the Wraith getting a job at the Star Trek Experience as a Klingon. This got me to thinking...
There have been a lot of other Star Trek references in SG:1 and Atlantis, like Jack wanting to name the X-303 "Enterprise", Jack asking about Phasers on the X-302, two SG scientists talking about "worshipping at the altar of Roddenberry", McKay comparing Sheppard to Captain Kirk, etc. Since a lot of Trek alumni (the actors who portrayed:
* Deanna Troi
* Odo
* Reg Barclay
* the holographic Doctor
* Doctor Phlox
* Q
* Miles O'Brien
* Trip Tucker
* T'Pol
and probably a few others I'm forgetting) have appeared on SG:1 or Atlantis, why don't the SG and Atlantis teams ever remark, "Wow-- that Russian Stargate scientist sure looks a lot like Deanna Troi!" or "Our new boss here in Atlantis looks JUST LIKE that holographic doctor from Star Trek: Voyager!!"?
So, to prevent the SG and Atlantis teams from doing double-takes when meeting new friends and foes across the galaxies, who would you recast in Star Trek for the above roles?
