Recast Anakin Skywalker

With due apologies, @Neroon but I couldn't resist:

Back before the prequels were even anything, my preferences for a younger Anakin & Obi-Wan were Liam Neeson and Kenneth Branagh. I always imagine them being older at the start of the story. I imagined Liam Neesons Anakin as more of a Han Solo kinda rogue when he's found by Obi-Wan.

I like Harden as Anakin, however there is nothing wrong with thinking who else could have been cast in the part. While I like many of the actors chosen. When I think of the possibility that Toshiro Mifune could have been Obi-Wan.

If one must be brutally honest, I can see other actors in just about every major STAR WARS character aside from the ones that were actually cast.

Hayden did a good job with what was horrible writing and even worse directing.

Even truly inspiring actors came acros as shite in the prequels, because George doesn't understand dialogue and directing. He's a visual director, and the long battle shots in all Star Wars movies are amazingly done and detailed, because he tells a story through pictures, not actors. Spielberg, his ol' buddy ol' pall is like that too, but also understand dialogue and working with actors. It's that reason he's a succesfell director, and George is only known for Star Wars.

Lucas directed 3 beloved cult classics within 6 year time frame. Each of a completely different genre and style.

My opinion as well. The casting in the PT for the most part (Jake Lloyd being the exception) was fine.

Aside from a few flaws, I found nothing wrong with the scripts for the Prequel Trilogy. I rather enjoyed watching how individuals and politicians allowed their fears to help Palpatine usher in tyranny into the Republic. The movies seemed like an apt reflection of our own societies. And I have nothing against the Original Trilogy and "Rogue One", despite their flaws. All seven movies might have their flaws, but all were still first-rate movies to me. Nor do I have anything against Christensen, Lloyd or any of the other actors.

The PT works well as a societal constructs for the most part, but the characters are so flat to me.

But, the Old Republic will always fascinate me.

Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader-

They should have had him in Rogue One if anything. Vader's like 40, Hayden is almost there, now.
