My opinion as well. The casting in the PT for the most part (Jake Lloyd being the exception) was fine.Hayden is a fine actor IMO. It was the script and direction, not him.
Back before the prequels were even anything, my preferences for a younger Anakin & Obi-Wan were Liam Neeson and Kenneth Branagh. I always imagine them being older at the start of the story. I imagined Liam Neesons Anakin as more of a Han Solo kinda rogue when he's found by Obi-Wan.
I like Harden as Anakin, however there is nothing wrong with thinking who else could have been cast in the part. While I like many of the actors chosen. When I think of the possibility that Toshiro Mifune could have been Obi-Wan.

The PT works well as a societal constructs for the most part, but the characters are so flat to me.
But, the Old Republic will always fascinate me.
Different responses to different characters. Part of the variety of that it funYou found them "flat" huh? Hmmm . . . whatever.
