Hypothetical Scenario: Upon completion of Star Trek Continues, the folks responsible for its production decide to produce an original science fiction series of their own. (Essentially a "rebranding" of their 501(c)(3).) They decide that upon release of each episode, they will also release all related content (scripts, sheet music, set design, costume patterns, et cetera) under some sort of open source license, so that fans of the new series can easily produce their own derivative works using a legal license.
What license or licenses should they use? Should they use the same license for everything, or different licenses for different types of content? Are there some types of content that cannot be licensed for some reason?
