I'm sure I could come up with a crime fighting costume. I remember working on one of my masks thinking about it being great for being a Superhero. It was one of those moments in my life where I realised I may need to talk to a therapist.

There's actually a lot of people doing this. In Detroit they work with police (who know their secret identities) and have official standing and do patrols and the like. Mostly in the USA, but a few elsewhere.

Mexico has a long tradition of people putting on wrestling masks and making public statements to draw attention to various causes -- masked wrestlers have been the super heroes of Mexico forever. I remember a guy getting the press a few years ago as "Animal Rights Man" or something like that in Mexico City. He got a lot of support; people love that for some reason.

I think it's all pretty cool, but clearly dangerous stuff at times.

I need to put a persona together and get on that site. It's little things like this which is why my workmate it plummeting to dangerous levels

When I first saw the picture of Master Legend and Ace, my knee-jerk reaction was "Look! It's Celibacy Man and Momma's Boy!" But after reading the article I'm really impressed with them. These folks are willing to forego a "normal" life to help other people, and that deserves to be applauded.

Just looking at their pictures, it seems as if they could use a good trip to the gym. It is a wonderful idea but if they were fully behind being a super hero, you would think a real super hero would attempt to better theirself(getting fit, well-educated, etc...) since it would benefit those around them that they are attempting to help.

A real super hero would be locked away since our society only likes vigilante justice in comics and movies but not in reality.

One of the guys in Detroit has been seriously injured because he's confronted drug dealers and the like, but he's a bit more cautious now, I think.

I prefer the Superbarrio-type of activist hero to the wannabe crime fighter, but if someone with some real martial arts skills got into the game it could be interesting...

It's either genius or madness. Or that thin line in between. Or Hulk Hogan in yet another PR stunt. The bad thing about this is that, the same with the thread a few days (or longer? I've lost all track of time) ago... knowing I want a new job I actually think to myself "I could be a superhero."

My mind only goes thee for a split second. It's the stupid kind of thing I would do just to amuse myself... but... my outfit would be a hell of a lot nicer
