An inherently unstable platform, especially in roll and yaw. The guy did a spectacular job in both appearance and fly-ability. I'd love to get a close look at his control surfaces. (Speaking as an experienced RC model and full scale pilot.)

The only thing I ever did as a kid was to build four paper airplane.
The secondary hull was of carbboard, with two cranked arrow wingtips that bent upwards and served as pylons for two thin paper airplanes.
A fat paper airplane served as the saucer--that a taped on to the nose of the secondary hull cardboard airplane.
It flew...ok

That's actually a really cool idea. If my kids ever let me get back into modeling, I've got more than a few ships to build and it would be awesome to get them in the air. I wonder how many blades I'd have to attach to get one of my 1/350 TOS Enterprises to lift off... hmmm
