Re-Write the Ending!

Dreadnought: a small addendum to the ending. Right after Janeway says "let's bring our people home."

TUVOK: "Captain, we are being hailed by Minister Kellan."

JANEWAY: "On screen."

KELLAN: "Our sensors have detected the destruction of the incoming ship, captain. We cannot thank you enough."

JANEWAY: "I'm glad we were able to help, Kellan."

KELLAN: "And now we'd like to help you. Our people have advanced industrial replication technology. We mainly use it to produce ship parts, but it can be adapted to produce munitions and parasite craft."

JANEWAY: "I'm looking forward to meeting you."

Not sure if this qualifies as a re-write, but in Star Trek Nemesis, keep all the deleted scenes pertaining to the ending. Doctor Crusher calling Picard from her new post at Starfleet Medical, Worf and Geordi going through Data's belongings, and especially, Picard's new first officer and chair. They were more than just important, they were NEEDED. If this was truly to be the ending for the TNG crew, then it needed to take some notes from Star Trek VI: have the remains of the crew on the bridge as the final shot, have Picard's last on screen words be "Where no one has gone before", and have the Enterprise warp off into the sunset.

Seriously, you want to piss off fans who literally grew up watching TNG and the TNG movies? Have Picard listening to B4 sing blue skies as if he were Data coming back and then walking down a corridor smiling as if this was to be continued, then ending the whole 24th century storyline for more than 18 BLOODY YEARS is UNACCEPTABLE. PERIOD. Anyone who watched TNG, DS9 and Voyager deserved better than to have the threads just dangle there for nearly two decades.

Alternatively, Bashir shrugs and easily fixes the stab wound that Marritza received.

Starfleet: we can bring you back to life after you've been stabbed with a poisoned spikey gauntlet, we can replace your heart after you get run through with a Nausican dagger, we can replace half your brain, we can regrow your arm or leg, we can regrow your kidney with a pill, we can turn you back into a human after you've been transformed into a glowing blue alien or salamander or puppet, but don't...get stabbed by a random guy a few minutes away from a fully equipped sickbay.
