Re-Watching Enterprise

I have all the episodes recorded and usually watch at least one every day. I have seen them all probably 10 times at least. Does anybody else do that? Whhich ones do you watch more than others?

I've watched the whole series now about four times through. I've probably seen Twilight, Observer Effect, Babel One/United/The Aenar, Terra Prime, Vox Sola, First Flight and the last 7 episodes in season 3 at least 10-20 times each.

I'm planning to re-watch Seasons 3 and 4 in the next few weeks. I haven't seen the series in 2 years, should be a fun experience.

They are showing Season 3 here on Sky One during the day and just starting Season 2 on Virgin on Monday night.

i watch a lot of the sci fi ones if it am not out on monday night.
some episodes are better on repeat while a few are just meh.

I personally like to watch them in order rather than pick ones I am interested in. It gives more context to the individual show as you know what came just before it. I run on a treadmill for at least an hour 3x/week, and I watch Trek when I run. I am just about to finish re-watching ENT this week. I will start with another series next week and jog my way through those.

I got the whole series on DVD for Christmas and have been watching them at least a couple of nights a week. I can't tell you which ones I like more. I think I watch season 3 and 4 more. I like Rajiin (don't yell at me) Twilight, Azati Prime, Damage, Zero Hour, etc. I also like all the arcs in the fourth season and I'm especially fond of the MU 2 parter. I will go back and look at season 1 and 2. Last night I watched Unexpected. That cracked me up as usual.

The series 2-part pre-TATV finale (the Terra Prime episodes) have a lot more oomph the second time you watch them. They really seem like the farewell episodes for the show.

It's been a while since I last watched the show myself, so I've being thinking about rewatching it in the near future. In which case I'll simply watch it from the beginning right the way through to the final episode.

Don't you think watching the same thing ten times over is just a bit odd?

Well, as I said in another thread I started a few months back, I wonder sometimes if we are becoming Talosians: Watching and re-watching the memories left behind in the thought record...

On the other hand, I bet there are plenty of folks around here, myself included, who have seen these eps more than a few times and enjoyed them and found new things to notice on subsequent viewings. :)

I dont, although once ive watched something i have to forget the main details before I enjoy watching it again. Wish i could instantly wipe the memory completely. So i could fully enjoy the next viewing.

I did an ST marathon in the spring and summer 07, i still cant watch any of the shows or movies properly. I know whats about to happen, get bored and fastforward through bits eg. the spacewalk with the lt hawk section on FC.
It's not the same as watching it for the first time

This doesnt happen with music for me. I can replay instantly a song or track for hours nonstop, and still love it as if it was the first time i heard it.
I only wish I had the same ability with visual works

I watch Twilight, Impulse, Anomaly, Azati Prime, Damage, The Forge, Awakening, Kir'Shara and the Andorian arc the most (even though I dislike much of the last episode, the Aenar). I also like Andorian Incident.

I would say the Forge is probably my favorite, but I love watching season 3 more.

I have every episode of ENT on tape, save for "North Star"...Patiently waiting for it to show on SciFi. I don't watch old tapes as much as I used to, but I intend on having them when I'm old and grey, so I don't hafta deal with WWIII, y'know?

I have ALL of trek on tape and about half of it on DVD. No shame in liking your tapes-I still go back and forth between watching my discs and my tapes.

Better keep them, someday you'll only be able to find VHS tapes in museums and antique shops. :p

Don't worry, discs will one day go the way of the dinosaur as well.

Tapes may come back. Kirk specifically referred to "taped" music when Abe Lincoln boarded the Enterprise in "The Savage Curtain."

I have been rewatching ENTERPRISE on DVD recently and I have to say, I have been too hard on it. Sure, I still hate Trip with a passion, still find the show to be an overall ripoff of VOYAGER, and still believe that whoever thought TATV was a good idea is in serious need of psychiatric assistance, but I no longer think that ENTERPRISE is aboslute shit.

Now it's just shit.

But shit with a few good episodes.

Wow, you're really coming around.:guffaw:
