After all the hype and the FaceBook page, Betty White did SNL last night and she appeared in nearly every skit. Not bad for an 88 year old.

I though the show was great, and still find myself chuckling thinking of her saying, "She's a lesbian."

So, on a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being didn't even want to watch it, and 10 being Loved ever minute of it. What did you think of last night's SNL?

I give it a 10.

Also what was your favorite skit (Either with or without BW)?
Mine was the lesbian one. The opening monologue was great too.

I gave it a 9 overall, and thought the "muffin" sketch was better than the "lesbian" sketch, as far as the "old women saying controversial things are funny" genre is concerned.

Over the whole show, I thought the Really!?! segment on Weekend Update was the funniest.

Easily the best shot they've done all season. White was hilarious (and having plenty of other special guests only helped).

9/10

Apparently, this was the highest rated show since November 1st, 2008, which was the night Ben Affleck hosted, and Tina Fey was in full swing as Sarah Palin, alongside a very real John McCain.

When I saw Amy was on the show I knew a Really!?! segment was coming. Which is generally a good thing.

I liked the Macgruber and Grandma sketches as well. Betty did well, strained a couple times and was a bit awkward in the scared straight sketch, but there's a lot of performers younger than 88 or whatever who have done much worse without any upshot to make up for it.

I was mainly excited about all the female cast members from the 90s coming back for multiple sketches. Great stuff!

I'm just going to say it.

I'm not a huge fan of Betty White. She's a bit charming, kind-of funny, and it's awesome that as old as she is that she's still acting, still kinda-funny and not sitting in a room in with 20-other octogenarians bitching about Bob Barker not being on "the box" anymore.

But, overall, she just doesn't make me laugh all that hard or greatly and I pretty much hated her character on Boston Legal.

We were watching it at the bar at work. There were middle-aged men crying from laughter. It was absolutely hilarious.

I rate it White herself a 10, the episode itself an 8. The show lost points because of some of the typical SNL stuff we've been getting lately, but aside from that, White shined through.

My favorite sketch? The census. I have to rewatch it just for the one-liners!

Being British, I've never seen SNL but Asylum.com was pushing so heavily for her to get the gig for so long I hope she was good.

Wow, something good came from Facebook. I thought it was the best episode I've seen in a long time. Even though I grew up with SNL from episode one, I generally find myself these days not being able to make it through the first 15 minutes of the show. This episode, the only time I changed the channel away was during Jay-Z's two "songs". That was an odd musical pairing for Betty White by the way. Any surviving members of the Glenn Miller Orchestra still alive?

It was a little tiring seeing what nasty things or sexual innuendos they could get her to say, but I'm just going to assume that Miss White didn't have a big problem with it. If I were alive and hosting SNL at 88, I'd probably say "what the hell" too.

Most of the sketches were very funny. I really enjoyed seeing some of the recently departed female cast members back. That really added to what was already a top notch show for modern SNL.

I'm going to guess however that her Hot in Cincinnati sitcom on TV Land is going to be dreadful. I have zero faith in that channel's ability to create original programming. I'll check it out, but I have low expectations to say the least.

I had to turn it off before Weekend Update- which was a shame because it sounds like I missed a lot. :( I rate what I saw a 9- the muffin sketch was almost as hilarious as the "Schweddy Balls" sketch. I also liked the McGruber bits.

I've already taken to popping into a room, pointing at my friend and threateningly say "Wizard of Ass!"

I watched it at a gay party at a college. Twenty of us queers in the room when Betty White was talking about her muffin. The whole show was sex / gay jokes and no one could breathe by the end of it.

"My muffin hasn't had a cherry since 1939."
"WIZARD OF ASSSS!!!!"
